Abstract

|
Several quaternary pyridinium cephalosporin analogues were prepared and evaluated in vitro for anibacterial activity against selected Gram-postive and Gram-negative organisms. M ost of the synthesized anglogues were either as effective or less effective against the tested bacteral otganisms than the reference compounds, Cefpirome and Ceftazidime.
